Design

Design drawings are generally required when submitting for permit.

__ Engineering Report (Vehicle impact, water infiltration, roof load, etc.)

Permit

Permits are generally required when work alters a building or structure.

__ Permit Expediting (Zoning and Building)

__ Planning and Zoning Coordination

__ Coordinate permits for Bank Vendors (Signage, ACM, etc.)

__ Drawing Review (high level review of drawings, Design Team responsible for QA/QC)

__ Submit prior to GC award / Change of Contractor

__ ACM Impact

__ Screen Working Hours (some towns restrict work after-hours and on weekends)

__ Screen Open Permits (open permits may impact closing out your project)

__ Landlord Coordination

__ Utility Coordination

__ ROW Permit (work that takes place on, over, or under a public right-of-way)

__ Certificate of Approval (Certificate which confirms permit is closed and work complete)

Please note the below items:

1. Our efforts are generally focused on the Building and Zoning Department. For ROW permits we will coordinate with the respective engineering department (town, county, or DOT).

2. Permit updates are generally excluded (For example, resubmitting an updated set of plans and applications)

3. Permits related to means and methods of construction are generally not included. For example, parking permits for a dumpster or equipment, lift permits, scaffolding, etc.

4. Inspections should be coordinated by the contractors. Fees for reinspection should be paid by contractor.

5. Once construction is complete we will coordinate certificate of approval or certificate of occupancy.
